Family Recipes
Growing up, my family loved to bake. My siblings and I would always help our mom bake something delicious after school. My grandmother, Mugga, always kept a jar of chocolate chip cookie dough in the fridge for when we visited. Many of the cookies and baked goods at El Cookie come from my family's recipes. The Halfway cookies are from Mugga's cookbook, and the brownies are similar to the ones my mom used to make. The cinnamon rolls are my own original recipe that I created in high school. Our cookies and baked goods are a nod to my American childhood and are unlike anything else you'll find here in Alicante.
